Palintest Photometer pH Phenol Red Tablets use a tablet reagent containing the precise amount of phenol red indicator required for the test.

Phenol red reacts in water over the pH range 6.8 - 8.4 to produce colours from yellow to red. The colour of the test solution indicates the pH value and is measured using a Palintest Photometer.

These tablets include a dechlorinating agent, allowing testing in water with chlorine or disinfectant residuals.
