Scrims & Chamois Leather
In a world where technology is improving at an astonishing rate and introducing new gadgets for our janitorial cleaning needs, some people have now branded scrim cloths and chamois leathers out-dated, but we disagree. For many of years, scrim cloths and chamois leather have been used as window cleaner’s main tools to create squeaky cleans windows that glisten in the light.
Scrim Cloths & Chamois Leathers
Let’s not forget chamois leathers and the scrim cloth is a specialist window cleaning tool designed to clean windows specifically and hasn’t failed professional window cleaners yet.
Together the scrim cloth and window squeegee make the perfect partners, to initially clean the window using the scrim cloth and further remove any leftover soapy water with the squeegee which ensures there are no streaks left over. This way of cleaning uses less water in an age of being environmentally aware, ensuring areas are not missed, and the window is not left looking streaky. On the other hand, chamois leathers are useful for drying surfaces after washing, as they are super absorbent of water and have a softness that you can only get from chamois leather. This type of cleaning technique lifts and removes grime which eliminates the chance for abrasion.
