Directions
Untreated Wood/new Floors: Thoroughly mechanically sand with the grainand vacuum clean. Ensure that all oil, grease or wax deposits are removed by solvent washing then allow to dry. Stir well before use. Thin the first coat with
20% of White Spirit to aid penetration. Apply two full coats by brush or roller, ensuring the sealant spreads evenly to prevent pools forming. Lightly sand the surface between coats.
Previously Varnished Floors: If the existing varnish is sound, lightly sand with the grain and wash with White Spirit. If the varnish is flaking, remove by burning off or apply a paint stripper. Sand with the grain and wash with White
Spirit. Stir well before use. Apply two full coats by brush or roller, ensuring the sealent sprads evenly to prevent pools forming. Lightly sand the surface between coats.
The coverage is approximately 12m per litre per coat.
The sealant should be allowed to dry for a minimum of 8 hours before the application of an additional coating.
Allow 16 hours for the final coat to hard dry.
N.B. NOT SUITABLE FOR OVERCOATING WITH 2 PACK LACQUERS.
